I'm Confused

Slate, the picture in your post shows the new consoles, but when I download VCC its no different then my Beta. Will you be releasing another version with the updated consoles, or is VCC not available for Beta users yet.

Hey Paul,

Send in a support ticket for info on receiving v1.0 in your user area as a beta tester, I have, and I'm sure the support team will get back to you.

I recall Steven stating that it will work with the auth already on the original iLok. You'll just need to port the auth over on to your iLok 2.

Cheers,

Got it loaded up and am using it on an ambient/sound design track. Not an ideal usage, but already, I can hear a subtly useful difference. Seems likely that the more I mess with it, the more variety of sounds I'll get. I love a plugin which works like that!

If I may ask, what is the requirement of iLok 2? What is iLok 2? Am i understanding well that if I need to buy this plugin I will need an additional USB ilok key to add up in my computer + the ones I already have? I mean how many iLok key it's gonna take us? If thats the case?

Thanx for clarification!!!

Cheers!!!

An iLok is a dongle... More info >>>> iLok USB key - iLok.com

VCC requires and iLok 2; of which you can get free with purchase up until 17th March 2011.

You can transfer licenses from an original iLok dongle to this new one which holds a lot more.

@s34nsm411,

New consoles and the noise feature request have been discussed in forum slated for an update.

I had the beta version, installed the new VCC but it won't pass AU validation in Logic 9.

Anybody else having issues?

I'm sure Steven and the gang will be sending out e-mails shortly/in the next day or two I suspect to beta testers with links to download files from their respective user areas. A support request has been logged.

Thank you,

Ash

Installed it over the beta. Cubase stops at authorization of VCC. I have my VCC beta ilok asset on the ilok2. Are we supposed to Redeem a new license or something?

So let me get this straight, this is only for 32 bit mac??? I'm tempted to buy this but I'm on 64 bit Windows 7 VST. Not complaining but I just feel a bit leary about buying something now and waiting for something that might take 30 days or quite possibly longer. I'm sure given the history of the release of the VCC anyone can understand my concerns. Hmmm.... The free iLok makes it tempting though.

Slate, I think its fair to ask what is the next update going to include? 64 Bit Mac? 32 Bit Windows? 64 Bit windows? I know Fabrice can only code one update at a time so this is why I'm asking, which update gets priority right now? I at least hope its 32 Bit Windows??

Thread Starter
please use the support ticket service

for those having auth problems:
try to remove the ilok2 incl the vcc license for some minutes from your workstation. restart, after login connect the ilok2.

this fixed problems on cubase 6, logic 9 and recent reaper.

How should one install this over the beta on a mac? Just run the installer and it should update correctly?

Dear Slate,

You want us to use your forum and bug report area on Slate Digital to report problems with this new release. I have a bad problem, which I believe many others are going to be having in a few hours

But when I log on in the bug report area for VCC, I'm not allowed to post there or in the general discussion area for VCC. I did fill out a questionaire in the support area. What's up? You want this material to be on your forums and not here on GS, but what could be the reason for not being able to post there if you can log in?

Oh yeah. What is a "support ticket"? Is that the question form on the support part of your site?

I had a similar problem in SonarX1 so I reinstalled the pace drivers.
Home

Got it to load on a single audio track & buss but none of my previous projects using Beta 2.5 x64 will open & hang X1 so be aware.

Hey guys.. the current release supports all formats (mac vst, rtas, au) and wi vst. The only format not in the current release is win rtas.

Bets users can log in to the users area to download.. make sure to transfer your vcc license on to your new ilok first!

The demo is now up too.

64bit, ppc, and win rtas are expected in about 30 days.

The free iloks are shipping worldwide this week only. Ill check to see what's up with forum.. it should be public.

Since jules said he will combine these two threads.. and since the one we started has more official info.. can everyone post from now on in the other official thread? It would be much appreciated.

Do FG-X or Trigger owners get any discount on VCC this week? Either way I'll order but just wondering...

Why are there three different VCC threads going now? tutt
Also, I can only login by using the password sent by "forgot password" process. I go into Users area and the password in there has nothing to do with the login password. Please fix this.

I've installed the plugins into default folder and wanted reinstall into correct folder. Now, I can't seem to uninstall the software. There's no entry in Programs (add or remove)??

* There is "Uninstall Slate Digital VCC.exe" in Programs Folder/Slate Digital. I used that and uninstalled successfully. There should be proper entry in the Add or Remove Programs list.

* Just installed and quickly looked around. Plugin looks nice. I will have to get back later for listening. Gotta goto work now. Congrats to SD on finally releasing the damned thing.

Fwiw.. on my win 64 machine.. vcc works perfectly on nuendo and cubase 5 32bit versions.. audiosuite, 2 extra consoles, drift feature coming in future updates.

Ill look into users area logins. We will do a $50 discount promo for fg-x users after this initial ilok2 promo.

Yes, but only the Virtual Channel. "crashed validation"
Virtual MixBuss successfully validated.

Now to log a ticket.
