Bought it and love it. Truly a first-class piece of work. I am only having one issue: the GUI for the plugin does not move. I can hear the parameters changing, but the knobs/switches/meter are completely frozen. I am in PT HD8 running ver2.1 of the FXPansion wrapper; the session was a common 44.1/24. Any solutions . . . |

Is there a fix available, or coming soon? I like the other Sknote plugs I was listening to but things are near-useless if I can't interact with the controls.

![]() They should say: let's hope that developers will hang on 2.3 so that the wrappers remain compatible. But that's a bit strange... We are working on compatible versions, anyway. It requires going back to vst2.3 ![]() And, maybe, on straight RTAS versions.

Actually got me thinking that these guys (sknote) could probably make a killer multi-distortion type plug for complete tonal shaping. That would be very cool imo. Something similar to SCREAM (sorry for the reference), very easy to find a variety of distortion tones or even completely new sounds.

I still dont get how to use the presets - where do the have to go for the GTS to see them? Cant find the a folder in the regular "Application Support" or "presets" folder that other plugs use??? (OSX - AU - Ableton Live)

Sorry Quinto, I don't understand the procedure for loading the presets either. (I've used the wrapper so I can run the GTS-39 as RTAS). So, I run the fxp/fxb converter - but how do I load the presets into the GTS-39? And do I do this before I run the wrapper to convert to RTAS?? Thanks!

Wouldn't it be simpler for you to just have the converted presets as part of the "preset" download, instead of everyone doing in on their own? Also, where do they go, once converted? |

![]() Didn't find two minutes, really. They work as such on Cubase, anyway. Received in that format. They can be placed in any place, because they need to be manually loaded from the interface.

Just grabbed this. First impression this is a nice tool to fatten up snares and hats when they need meat. Really great on electric keys to get that vintage vibe. Works for grungy bass lines too. Gives a nice color that works well sometimes and others not. Not a bread and butter processor but gives a color you won't get from other compressors. I like experimenting with the hold to sculpt percussion. Don't like it on kick drum at all and not so good on acoustics that you want smooth or polite. It is a CPU hog. Would like a 4x option. If the 8x only is needed when driven hard I don't like it at extreme settings anyway. How much oversampling does it use at 96k? Is it 8x the project rate or is it just 352/384 regardless? If it is 8x 96k I am running at 768 sample rate and I think that is over the top for those running at higher rates |

No, 8x isn't just for the saturation, it is for detector and compression, too, so it is needed even if you don't push it to distortion.

Alright I see. Would still like if it was varied to 4x when at 88/96k.

I'm still having some problems with this on my system (pluggin freezing/meters going crazy) as well as the digital-clipping like sounds that occur when compressing hard. Is there hope for some updates in the future? I reallly like how it sounds otherwise. btw my system is cubase 5.5.3 32bit win7 64 |

Cool. I noticed these same issues. Especially the clipping distortion when pushed. Some strange GUI pauses when dragging parameters with mouse.
