There seems to be many Tape Simulators on the Market, if one has 8 tracks on a PC-DAW which of all the Tape Simulators will handle the most Tracks.

How many of the above will work on a PC, is there any thing that will work with a laptop PC.

As the "Anamod ATR-1 is a stand-alone unit how many tracks can this handle at a time.

Best Regards

Tony

Quick question, I just bought Roundtone and I received the download for the 64 bit version for vst/au. I have a Mac G5, so did I need to request a separate 32 bit download?

While running to distribute the promised updates, it has been decided:
Roundtone is getting wow and flutter controls, too.
The upcoming update is free, of course.

Quick request, Quinto: Could you put the version number in the plugin itself? When I do a Get Info (I'm on Mac OS 10.6.8, btw) on my sk plugs (Roundtone, Cuttertone, StripBus), they all say "1.0", and I know that's not true.

It would make it easier to check and see if we have the latest version. Thanks!

Yep all in lower right hand corner apart from Roundtone

Quints' any news on the stripbusx64 update and an ETA of the revised Roundtone you mentioned?

Also when can we expect to see/hear the dolby addition please?

Yeah... I meant when you do a quick Get Info on the .component file itself. Most plugins have the current version number there. Just makes it easy to do a quick check if your DAW isn't up and running. Not that big a deal though...

Tomorrow (sat) the new version of GTS-39
Roundtone follows the next week, together with the new Bus v.2 and a preview of the new distortion/compression thing

Ok about that version numbering in the file

How are you updating users? If you're sending to the email addresses we purchased with I'm not getting them because I have massive issues with that email address and it's pretty much hosed.
I'm a Roundtone and GTS-39 user and would love to keep getting updates.

No problem, if you see an announcement and you miss it just send an email and give the new address (referring to the old one)

Roundtone update.

It went slowly because we set high priority to projects needing fixes for existing users, like 64 bit and mainly improvements like in the recent GTS-39.

But it is on the workbench and will be presented in a few days.

The new update will be the new v.3. It is a main update.

It is getting the announced features:

- wow and flutter
- meter
- noise reduction expander (high frequencies dynamic enhancement)

but it is getting more main features:

- new enhance modes (high frequencies enhancement)
- improved stereo behavior. You can use a stereo instance on a mono source to get advantage from the new features. Works as a stereo widener because of the slight differences between the independent left and right channels on the same source. Wow and flutter, for example, can be set as being on two different machines for left and right.

P.S. If anybody is thinking about getting it now and get the free v.3 upgrade, I suggest to hurry up

Great news! I already love the colours I get through this so the update sounds like a whole new set of colours to explore. By the way Quinto what's happening with the verbtone update? I am one of those for whom it just won't pass audio, been waiting patiently here.

Just updated the thread about Verbtone!
Asking for an email if you have problems with your installation.
We have a new version and it should solve it.
So, could you please send an email? I'll identify your copy and send the new version

Still working on it and you'll receive it by email as soon as ready
Just increased the number of new features, trying to keep the number of updates low and significative.
