Indeed...forums (or is it fora?) have become an increasingly powerful marketing tool. This is just too obvious

hello guys?!

we get tons of threads here of apple/apogee/avid/younameit...

what´s wrong with it?!

why is there so much little-company-bashing going on here?!

why does it matter if it´s him, his friend, his cousin or a big fan of his products?!

if you can´t stand a "new product alert" in the "new product alert"-forum, what you´re doin here?

Lol I also thought he was Alex (or maybe Alexb went nuts sampling allday and developed alter-personality) :D though personally even I noticed, I didn't care much about it as for his intention.

Maybe he's beta tester of Alexb programs? or fan of his works?

Today you posted about nice eq, which is a good thing as I was wondering why nobody mentioned about it (then I saw version 2 of it exists so thought it still needed a little tweaking).

I think for their own good, developers should also take time posting here. Non-Nebula users seems to be sick of seeing Nebula related topic but who cares right? eh

mearly a re-post from the Acoustica site.

I'd rather let AlexB stay busy on libraries !!!

BTW ...

as I've mentioned 'elsewhere' ... the MWC & EQ are very nice.

The EQ alone is very flexible and musical.

Thanks !

I agree I think its great for developers to post in 'New Product' its great to see them around from time to time. What strikes me as strange is that Mercado Negro 90% of his recent 2010 posts have been Alex B releases and the threads have been carbon copies of the Acustica Audio forum release by Alex B...yes it could be a beta tester - is that whats going on here MN? I know it is your business....I personally prefer transparency when it comes to things like this - but it is up to you to reveal if you want to...

Yeah Cooker - I thought Nice EQ could do with some profile on the mastering forum - and also there are some good ears there - Im keen to hear what they think...prob is they got to buy it...

Alright I dont want to stink this thread out - peace

Trust me even if they don't post about it, there are at least 3 well known M.E.'S there that are Nebula users

One day I even listened to a bad mastering example where Nebula was used wrong (no-headroom crackling) somewhere on this forum, so even if its not mentioned there are users :D probably they like to use it as secret weapon...

Also it should be mentioned the Nebula version has a demo (should sound the same), I'm not sure if it works with Nebula free though?

Hi guys,

I help Alessandro testing his libraries in different systems and besides that we're good friends. I've been part of his beta team for some time now (thanks to one of those incidental events of destiny ). I create these threads because not too many people visit Acusticaudio forums and some of them miss releases, GS/KRV are good places for this. I don't create announcements for the rest of developers because I've seen they do it on their own. I visit these forums to read stuff here and there daily so it's not a pain to me to write these threads, as some of you noticed, these are just basically copies of Nebula Forums announcements, no big deal.

Well, I hope it's all clear now Cheers!

P.S. I'm also interested in reading how others use libraries, what they use for and when, etc.

I actually appreciate the announcements he's making here as I don't visit the Acustica site that often. At least not as often as I visit GS. So thanks for the heads up, I'm now off to purchase these new programs!

d*mn .... no conspiracy ... no under-handed plot ....

oh well.

The VST version of NiceEQ ... well ... its' nice

I've only tested it for a short period of time ... and a little comparison to the native NEBULA library ... it sounds excellent [although the niceeq is not one of my main eq that I use ... probably because I have nearly every Nebula EQ library released to date.

Having an eq of this quality available as a single VST plug-in certainly is a convenience. The GUI markings are specific to this EQ, it is very practical, straightforward to use. The only drawback is the single Q-factor implemented. Not that it sounds bad, or is a bad choice ... its that I prefer adjustable Q's in my workhorse eq. The native NEB version has several choices.

With that said ... the NEBULA equalizers are all I use now [except for one coded eq]. I have removed all my other vst EQs ... and shed a tear for how much money I had invested in them .... ahh ... oh well ... tax write-off. :|
