Reason 5 On the Way!

Should be here in May 2010

This could be an awesome app, I hope they update the effects (EQ is terrible in R4, needs a convolution reverb) and the sounds.

Reason on the iPad is a major, major announcement.

Shit's about to get crazy.

It can't possibly run R5 on the iPad. You certainly can control it with one, but not run it. Not yet anyway.

Not a big fan of Apple and Reason here but:

What if Propellerheads ported R5 to iPhone OS?
That would be a HUGE market...

And even if this is not the case right now, it WILL happen eventually.

It makes you wonder, though. One day soon we might all walk around, holding iPad-type devices, rather than being stuck behind a desk when composing and mixing.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea.

If they integrate some type of sample editor and VST support, this would be the perfect DAW.
If Reason 5 will be a full featured DAW... then Propellerheads will rule the audio world...mwhahahahaaa!

Agree: Reason needs plugins, but it could also be plugins sold through the Apple App store. This would make upgrading your software studio so much easier (this is meant to be funny, but maybe somehow true too).
