Wouldn't running a guitar through the Powercore for those pedals just add more latency? and before the amp sim?

Pity it's plugins, I saw the pic of the old EQ pedal and got enthusiastic, I'd love to have one of those for my guitar rig... I can take the rack unit with me but I'd rather have the smaller version...

I think they're meant for the mix!

I was waiting for a Powercore PCI-e X8 and VSS4. Maybe they are programming native versions after lexicon announced their plugins. At least TC have mentioned that they now have a technology which enables them to port their dsp algorithms easier to native plugins.

That and sellin'...

I used to work for a major tape duplication house. We had several kinds of tape stock, but they broke down into two basic categories: usin' and sellin'.

I have a truly mint condition Booster + Line Driver & Distortion, and I used to have the Stereo Chorus plus some of the other TC pedals. The only reason I still have the Booster + Line Driver & Distortion is that I couldn't sell it! They command some pretty good money now, so I may unload it.

Oh, and BTW... I hate TC's website! (new smiley use)

Not for nothing, I used to own a TC Chorus pedal that was awesome on my guitar, but I can't imagine applying such effects in the mix - you have to play through that as you record to really know how it responds. Of course it has more uses than just a guitar pedal, but still, that is weird to me. Oh well, to each their own.

Indeed. Not as much in the studio, but on stage to be able to open strum and quickly see which strings are off is a pretty nice concept. Makes me wonder if the Melodyne people were involved in any way.

TC, where is VSS4? where is MD4? The products that were lanunched just suxx big time.

Lexicon releases PCM native, Softube releases CL1b native, TC says they have a great plan and they will release their famous plugins for PoCo and they release this shit...

Selling my PoCo and getting Lexicon and going fully native, I think...

It seems like a tweaked out version of the 24D with perhaps upgraded preamps.
