Rain introduces livebook studio and ion studio at 2010 namm show

RAIN COMPUTERS INTRODUCES LIVEBOOK STUDIO AND ION STUDIO AT 2010 NAMM SHOW
Rain Computers Gets Ready To Show Off New LiveBook Studio Quad-Core Notebook and ION Studio High Performance Rackmount Audio + Video Workstations At The 2010 NAMM Show In Anaheim, California

Rain Computers, the New Jersey based designer of high performance computers for audio/video production and DJs, will officially debut two products from its new Fall lineup at this years NAMM Show. LiveBook Studio is a high performance quad-core notebook based on Intel’s "Nehalem" Core i7 architecture. ION Studio is a high performance, rackmount audio/video computer that will be shown at NAMM with the industry-standard Pro Tools | HD3 system and two UAD expansion cards.

NAMM, an acronym that originally stood for National Association of Music Merchants, has become an international association including commercial, retail members and affiliates. It is the largest trade show of its kind boasting more than 1500 exhibitors and over 88,000 attendees despite not being open to the general public.

Rain Computers CEO, Kevin Jacoby, who will also make an appearance at the show said, "We’re excited to show off the results of our tireless testing and certification. Running an HD3 setup plus two UAD cards is something that would cripple most off-the-shelf computers. We also love giving Rain users the power of quad-core super computing in a notebook. LiveBook Studio and ION Studio are landmark products."

ION Studio is currently available through Rain Authorized Dealers like Best Buy, AMS and the famous B&H Photo in Manhattan, NYC. The newest rackmount audio/video computer is already in use by such marquee Rain clientele as US Olympic Committee and DJ Johnny Juice, producer for Public Enemy, DMC and John Legend among others.

LiveBook Studio will be available for sale starting in early February 2010 with a trio of quad-core processors, a high performance drive up to 500GB and up to 8GB of 1333MHz DDR3 memory. It also features the new NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250M sending 1GB of video memory to an ultra-high-resolution widescreen display making it ideal for motion graphics and video editing on the go.

Attendees can find Rain Computers at Booth 6324 in Hall A at the 2010 NAMM Show. More information about NAMM is available at NAMM.org | believe in music.
