Wave Arts announces Power Suite 5

We're proud to announce our biggest product news ever: the introduction of our new audio plug-in lineup- Power Suite 5

We've aimed high with these new versions, and Power Suite 5 features outstanding sound quality, more signal processing power, stunning visual interface design, and world class customer support at a tremendous value. These new v5 plug-ins cover the essential aspects of sound design, tracking, mixing and mastering.

In all, Power Suite 5 will include:

TrackPlug- all-in-one channel strip with 10 band EQ, dual compressors, gate, sidechain EQ, brickwall filters, clean/vintage modes, and a peak limiter
MultiDynamics- up to 6 bands of dynamics processing
MasterVerb- multi-algorithm reverb with comprehensive early reflection and dynamics control
FinalPlug- mastering limiter/volume maximizer with extensive dither options and a brand new limiting algorithm
Panorama- 3-D virtual acoustics processor with binaural HRTF technology and environment modeling

Will they be backward-compatible with the previous version--won't open a track done with instances of version 4 and find they sound different?

They will appear to your host as completely different plug-ins, since there are more parameters in the new plug-ins they wouldn't come up correctly in your host if we kept the plug-in IDs the same. This way you can still have the v4 plug-ins around, and not worry about your project sounding different (since there have been a lot of DSP additions/enhancements). We will also have an import feature for translating presets from v4 to v5.
