Interesting New Microphone Designs

i was scrolling though this chinese manufacturers sight and i found these cools new designs:

the first pic is a tube ribbon, second is a stereo ribbon, third is a ribbon, the fourth is a tube/ribbon.

just thought i'd post since they seem like interesting designs.

The third is cool, a bit like the violet global pre.

I said a bit because im not sure the electrical design is related or if its a modular capsule system

The global pre is awesome btw, I wish I had one.

They are generic mics from a major Chinese mic factory who OEM´s them for many brands. Invent your own brand if you don´t like the colour....

Yes, I met Jenny Liu of ShuaiYin whom I had only emailed with before my trip. She was showing a new large diaphragm mic.

do you know if Blue makes any modification on the electronics? or is it just stock OEM China with new logo? that would explain a lot of my questions concerning the sound of those mics.. stike

Which model are you refering to George?

I think the bluebird and baby bottle are manufactured in china. (aswell as their entire consumer line of usb mics and podcast stuff)
Thats why the price of the baby bottle has droped from 900$ few years ago down to about 300$.

As far as I know its the same electronics ,they just ported the manufacturing line of these models from latvia to china in order to lower prices.

Blue is distributed now by TC electronics.. you shoudl be able to get those Blue mics from every bigger music store that carries TC-products..
