FYI: Vintage King and Shadow Hills Industries will be sharing their booth with Korby. With all the new Shadow Hills gear to be unveiled (and hopefully Korby's PYE comp/limiter clone) it should be an amazing booth. I'm bringing my own drool bucket so the gear stays dry.

I can't wait. This will be my first AES.

Should I "clean out the pipes" before I go and see all that gear? ('Something about Mary' reference)

Thanks Brad!

I should make a note that our booth, (#860), is really Blackbird Studio & Audio Rentals.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there and meeting many more new friends. It's our first booth ever at AES so please come over and say hello.

We are having a really cool giveaway so stop in and sign up for your chance to win any of the following:

Custom Martin Blackbird acoustic guitar (it's beautiful!)
Blackbird iPod nanos
...and many of the almost famous Blackbird tshirts!

Rock on!

Oh, I'd love to be able to hit EAS this year, but the studio construction is hitting full cable swing that week.
Sorry I can't make it guys, but if anything gets delayed I'll have like 1 day that I may show up. If not, I'm stuck here in Vegas gettin the studio ready.
Enjoy the convention, and be sure to say hey to Brad- who I just met this year great guy (and all the others I've known for years). We'll have lots o fun gettin Vegas to be the next big recording town.

Crane Song is part of that row. The Audio Underground Row.

Is it sound like to it's true that they are going to giveaway a STC-8. That unbelievable.

The Audio Underground ROW is always the coolest Row, to see at AES. It seems a little different this year. But still a cool group of people.

William:

Bring your Blues Magoos albums and play them through a set of out of phase speakers. I'm sure that'll get Geoff plenty annoyed!

I recently got the AES badge in the mail and got my schedule for that weekend cleared out, so I'm looking forward to stopping by the Row and meeting all you folks. It'll be nice to put faces to the names finally, and get a good look at a lot of gear I don't normally get to see up close.

See y'all soon!

Tape Op Booth too!

Come visit us at the Tape Op booth, #1239! We're giving away new issues (big deal, I know) and happy to chat. John, Laura and Andy have a few meetings to do but I'll be there a lot, along with Jon Cohrs and many of our faithful writers. We're also trying to go to the GS dinner Friday but do have to visit with PAD and Apogee beforehand!

Come check out Ultrasone at 838. We'll have lots of cool stuff and good people to talk to. We have a new audio setup for listening to cds and dvds, possibly some new headphones and there might even be a german guy in a beer helmet. We look forward to meeting everyone and putting so headphones on heads.

I'm glad there's someone doing something great in Vegas....the studio scene there was horrible when I was there.

Putting a world class studio in Vegas was always a great idea in my book. Risky as hell...but a great idea. I just could never implement it....

Glad someone is. And what better guy to have on the tech staff?

Not really... most of the "booth babes" are far from models.

I've seen some really busted girls get hit on at these shows though....
