Any more input/ reviews on BLA PM8?
Is passive mode same sound as the passive mod on the SM8?

Curious about how folks have settled in with the Black Lion pm-8. Suprisingly not aton of information out there on this.

the thing that attracts me, mostly to this summing box is panning on each channel.

Anyone out there have any strong opinions, good, bad, uguly? Affordable, usable options?

I think there is much better to mix on passive mixers like this one.

Unit - Unit Audio

This is the price that cannot hurt anyone's pocket.

You truly don't understand the BLA summing box, summing, and how a passive summing box works, you still need a 2channel mic Pre, when you use your summing suggestion .

Sorry my fault. I mixed up the this one, Suggestion was for passive 8 channel model

This model; http://www.frontendaudio.com/SM-Pro-...xer-p/9569.htm

and this one is passive 16 channel for 335$. output pre amp is extra.

But I would always go for passive solution with choice of output preamp sound.
