Thread Starter | D16 Toraverb A new reverb (another one!). It's not out yet. I listened to the demos, it should be pretty good...I may be wrong. Gotta wait and see. |

| I love the D16 stuff. Wondering how the reverb is going to be. But I really miss the possibility of syncing the LFOs within Fazortan (D16's phaser). |

| Just installed the demo. It´s exactly the kind of reverb I have been waiting for! Sounds really cool on that synth phrase from last night ![]() |

| it would be interesting to hear a not-compressed shoot out between Toraverb and audio damage's Eos, on long tail stuff like ambient piano tracks. Toraverb seems quite good, but it's definitely cpu heavy, not that usable on "old" machines.

| The actual release version of toraverb, from 1.0 upwards is a bit more economical in its cpu usage and also has a choice of quality settings, to save processing power. Just switch it to the best quality before you render or record. |

| Tested the Toraverb too, just a few presets though, but it sounded musical to me and had a nice unique touch. |

| Agreed. Saw the news, went to their website, listened to the mp3s, liked it, downloaded the osx demo, tried it for about 15 minutes and bought it. No doubt about it, it is very fresh sounding and I must say the GUI is very fast. I get instant results, dialing in a nice reverb is very fast. Good job D16, recommended! For 35€ it's a steal!

| I'm just missing that the knobs not turning while reading automation data. That's for all D16 plugs, but that's not really a brainer. |

| I use MacOS 10.5.? (for sure not 10.6) and Logic 8. But I was using the automation for "dry/wet", maybe that's it |

IMHO effects are not the strengths of D16. They shine with other plug-ins like Drumazon, Nepheton (PHOSCYON failed for me compared to Audiorealism Bassline). | |

| My usual go to Reverbs are overloud breverb and UA plate 140 , however since jumping ship from PC to MAC ive been missing the free Glaceverb which i used to make my piano sound very dreamy , Toraverb has now filled that gap so i'm happy it has that vibe which you get from the reverbs in Props Reason. |
