it's a grounding problem. The One has unbalanced outputs. Trys using TR cables instead of TRS to powered monitors.

I wish it were as simple as a grounding/cabling problem. We tried every combination possible just to be sure. the fact is though that two other unbalanced usb audio interfaces (MBox Mini, MAudio Fast Track) did NOT have any of these issues under the same conditions and on either system. Apogee has been very nice about trying to get to the bottom of this so we'll see what shakes out. Perhaps we just got a bad batch from GC, who knows? In the mean time the unit has been returned until this gets resolved.

It would be cheaper if they left out the integrated microphone... who's gonna use it anyways?
