Finally made this purchase today. V2 definatly has some cool/fun upgrades, and IMO a much more intuitive GUI.

Hmmm....I can NOT get the side-chain function to work here. Is there something I'm missing:

PPC G5 4GB Ram, Mac OSX 10.4, PTLE 7.4

Send the desired sidechain signal to bus 1
In the FF Timeless plug, select bus 1 as the key input in the upper left hand side of the GUI.

After that, I should be able to hear that side-chain signal if I select "side-chain" in the monitoring option in the lower right hand side of the GUI...... right?

I feel like there's one other button that needs to be pressed in the Timeless plug to actually "activate" the sidechain. I know in most of my plugs that have side-chain support there is an additional key symbol or something that must be pressed.

Also, I'm not sure which symbol in the Envelope Generator is for the side-chain, and which is for the main input. The one for MIDI is obvious, but not entirely so for the side-chain signal.

Anyone?

I use DP6 primarily (although I am using PT8 today). I have not delved that deep into sidechaining, wish I could help.

Try the Fabfilter forum.

Those guys are good people and tend to respond quickly and clearly.

Thx, I'll check it out. It's gotta be just one little thing I'm missing.

Huh?

anyway... I got mine for free cos I bought the original Timeless recently... they didn't HAVE to do that - but they have got a customer for life now

now going to make a Maschine Controller Template for it... although the one I just did for Twin 2 took me 5 hours...

Not "too much" it's right

but 43 € for the upgrade and 99 for the full, purchased in December ...

44 % of the full price, it's not the cheaper upgrade i've paid

But I have to admit that it's a huge improvement !

129$ USD for a delay plugin... to me it's a bit too much.

Try the demo. You may decide the price is more than fair.

To get a 10% discount if you don't previously have any fabfilter plugins, PM someone who got a fabfilter account (for example me) and ask them to send you a discount mail from their user page.
