The Tape101. Goldbaby's first synth product.

I'm proud to announce Goldbaby's latest product.

The Tape101.

This is the first synth to get Goldbaby's tape love.

The SH-101 really loved tape and I think you will love the results!

For use in Kontakt 3 and EXS-24.

Check it out: Tape101.

Regards
Hugo

Are there some patches that are just the pure oscillator waveforms (unfiltered, etc.)? How many? In those cases, how many notes did you sample per patch?

Thanks...

Yes indeed! I have included: Pure Square, Saw, Sub, plus variations of all 3 mixed together.

For most of the patches I sampled every key too!

This gives you the option of using your software sampler as a synth with SH-101 oscillator off tape! Very useful...

Those fully saturated tape oscillator samples are huge and full off analog goodness.

There are also tasty patches using the SH-101 filter and modulation.

So... Plenty of raw ammo to create your own sounds plus some of my creations to round off a great sampled SH-101 emulation. With the added character of tape...

Regards
Hugo

Goldbaby you're a slut!
I feel forced to not only buy this, but I also want to get a decent tape machine! Which brand of tape did you use?

I use RMG SM 911 at the moment. Seems to handle everything I throw at it.

I'm feeling very slutty at the moment... Recently bought a UBK Fatso, Mutronics Mutator and a Roland SVC-350 vocoder.

Any chance there'll be EXS packs of your 909 & 808 packs?

I love your stuff! Especially the vinyl drum machines. The demos sound great, but I'm a bit nervous to buy the 101. There are lots of arpeggios with filters happening. Are those arps made with EXS/Kontact or were they sampled at a specific tempo? And are the filters generally from the 101 or the sampler? I trust that you did a great job as usual, but samples of synths weird me out a bit.

Are you planning on releasing maybe a single patch for a demo? I'd to try one out just to see how it breathes and moves.

Hi Rufuss

Tell you what... I can offer you a personal money back guarantee.

If you buy the Tape101 and don't like it or do not find it useful in anyway... then I will give you a refund.

Super awesome, and I am feeling so nostalgic for the one I sold recently, I guess I'll just have to get it!

Thanks bro!

The demo's are made using only the Tape101 sounds. Even the drums! The SH-101 made some great drum sounds... Some of my favorites are the cassette saturated ones...

It was a lot of fun trying to produce tunes using just one monophonic synth!
