There isn't any copyright problem??

Of course, we would ALL prefer to have the real thing...

I wonder why people always question copyright when it comes to sampling bricasti reverb, and not other reverbs (on average)?

maybe its because Casey has a presence around here and seems like a good guy worth of defending?

Anyway this is sweet - I finally get to properly demo some Acousticas IRs...

Is there a generic preset that is used?

Been sitting here a little while comparing the wet returns from these impulses via Altiverb and a HW Bricasti and must say I can`t hear any difference - at least on smaller rooms and plates with a snare and a sax sample.

With the larger rooms of churches I guess there would be more modulation going on and a easier to tell them apart. But for the presets I use the most in the Bricasti, and for single instruments - I really can`t tell them apart right now when A/B-ing. I`ve tried Fat Plate, London Plate, Snare Plate and some ambient stuff. A swift through some of the chambers too sounded very very close.

Later I`ll try some vocals and piano, maybe then the samples will sound a little messy compared to the HW..?

So I guess it`s excellent work again guys!

I have the other Acousticas samples which are very good- these however seem to have a wow factor- maybe its just me.

I tried these briefly on some jazz fusion material and was quite astounded. Seems likely to become my go-to impulse library. Fantastic work guys... truly amazing.

Any modulation 'presets' of sorts would be fantastic.

@SEB: That's astounding to hear, though given the quality of Acousticas prior impulse libraries, it is not surprising!

Logic Space Designer Presets for the FREE Bricasti M7 Impulses from Acousticas

I have made Spacedesigner Presets for the free Acousticas Bricasti Library. The guys from Acousticas suggested to post them over in this thread.

So to save you some time - you can download them here:
http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/544020/PS...er_Presets.zip

Installation description is included.

Cheers

These are fantastic. It really sits well in a mix where as most of my other impulses don't.

Props to Acousticas.

I have tried several times to DL this, but keep getting an error about the source file not being able to be read. Anyone else getting this?

These sound amazing. Waaaaaay better than the built-in Space designer presets. Although, I am still unconvinced by the longer reverb tails. The "Spaces" and "Halls" folders are not really useable in my work.

Thank you for the presets Human Ray. Btw, how does one go about creating the ".pst" files in order to create Space designer presets for other impulse bundles, like the H3000 impulses?

You're welcome. We have sent Brian Z. an email with a download link so you can put it up on your site for your own users if you like.

Casey, I think that is very gracious of you to say this.
As a hobbyist Bricasti is something I drool over, but will never be able to afford.

But I would like to make a "donation" to Acousticas as a token of gratitude for these. Would you have a problem with that Casey?
