New from FXpansion - GURU 1.6 drum machine

Hi all,




GURU has been updated to v1.6 and is now available exclusively as a direct download from the FXpansion online shop.

New features in v1.6:-
- NOTE REPEAT (with rate control), NOTE ERASE, FIXED LEVELS available on the front panel
- enhanced hardware remote support
- outputs doubled from 8 pairs to 16 pairs
- max. pattern length increased from 128 to 512 steps
- looping and phase flip per pad/layer
- realtime graph (automation) record from the front panel or hardware

GURU v1.6 is free of charge for existing owners and is available to new customers for US$249 / £129 / EUR199.

It's technically a public beta as the QA guys haven't given it the final stamp of approval (they're a little busy on something else right now ), but I'd recommend everybody to update to it at this stage.

Hey Angus, i wanted to ask you a question about the Guru's groove/shuffle algorithm. Can you make guru swing like an older Roger Linn's MPCs, like the 3k for example ? If yes which setting would you recommend?

Yep.. there is an "MPC Grooves" addon download with groove templates from the 60 and 3000. Pick one of those e.g. "Empicee 75" and set the swing amount to 30-50%.

yeah, nice tool and all, but can't buy it for shit on the sites shop.

lets me go as far as selecting payment then its as if the sites designers forgot to link the payment option to the next page. all the images of visa,mastercar,electron,paypal etc etc, dont link to the next page. I've tried on 3 networks and 6 machines, so its something your end. please sort it out as Im trying to give you business. how hard does it have to be to give money away these days
