Thank you my friend! Yeah, I have yet to hear any Eventide IR's that are acceptable. Also, Eventide does not like the idea of other companies created IR's from their gear. So getting approval from them is very difficult... if not damn near impossible!

It's $49 Mac AU VST and RTAS

I use it for guitar cabs cos the browser is a hell of alot more user friendly than Waves IR-1.

I might just ditch my waves for this one considering how many IRs there are in the new Acousticas library.

It's just about to be update too (Monday Apparently)
I had some really weird issues in cubase 4 with IR1-A and glitching of audio. Really really subtle on freezing or mixdowns if IR1-A was in the chain even as a send i would get slight small glitches in the audio that were so hard to hear but were there.Even if i took the latency down to 1024 or 2048 it still happened. It took days of testing my system to find out where it was coming from and it was that plugin. I now have SIR2 and have no issues at all and cubase runs a dream. I don't know if it was Cubase or IR1-A that had the issue but for me together they just were not happy. It also sounds duller to me when playing back the same IR's with other conv plugins.

Christian, the maker of SIR2, told me SIR2 is 100% transparent.

Christian is very responsive to emails too.

SIR2, is indeed, a very adequate convolution reverb.

In addition to the video blind tests, we have provided an extensive sound-demo set for this library. Included are demos of the 252, 250 and Nonlin IRs.

The EMT252 & 250 are the "personification" of superiority !
Never heard anything better sounding than those two.
Only the marketing of Lexicon was better than that of EMT's

The company dissolved about a year ago IMSMC. Too bad, they had some nice impulse sets, I'm still using mine.
