you can physically reverse eight channels. so you have 8 xlr combos and 8 xlr males on each side.

You connect XLR cables from back of the devices that are hard to reach to back of XLR patch bay on the rack. From the front, you can patch them to any place you want. Hope this answers your question.

Can i use them instead of a TT patchbay. All my gear is going to be connected to the patch bay anyway. So i am thinking to plug them all at the back of the xlr and have the accessible at the front and then i can do any combinations i want. I am only asking that because the TT for me sound a little but pain with half normal, normal, etc plus the pain of soldering at the back. I know that there are some TT with Dsub, but this makes the cost the same at the end, because i need to buy Dsub cables

If you dont care about normal, half normal etc then YES and this product is perfect. That is the general idea behind this product. No soldering. Just plug in XLR connections from back of your hard to reach devices and patch them with ease on front.

You can have Combo on front, XLR M on back, vice versa or custom (say 12 combo/8 Male on front and opposite on back). Even, combo on front and combo on back also (for all TRS).

They are mounted solid on PCB, routed on PCB (no wires) and machine assembled. Each connector is secured solid with 2 screws in addition to PCB support. The product has professional finish (no short cuts).

I was just thinking of how to finish getting ready.
Mamba w/ the switchable front and back design has just won the day.
Perfect, I hate using the Sound Company's TRS to XLR to Snake cables, they are Hosa......
Now I can use their XLR to XLR's which are the Zaolla's........thumbsup
During tough times, it seems like the excellent high end gear, and smartest solutions have no trouble selling.........
Consumer products seem to all be crying about the economy.
Survival of the Fittest I suppose.
Just don't go out of my Business before June...
I just spent 7000 USD and promised, it was all, I wouldn't need more....stike.

It is all cool. As a warning (as many posts in this forum). It is always safe to switch off phantom power before plug or unplug cables into patch bays. Just a warning.

We are looking at distributor in EU. We have shipped couple to EU customers already. Since the product is made in USA at this moment, the price in EU would be higher to offset shipping and duty, even if we have a distributor there.

Just got one of these delivered to me last night (combo front/MXLR rear) and I must say I am really impressed by the all neutrik gold contacts and super high gloss BLACK (yes they're black now) finish and perfect silk screened numbers and border. I shopped around a bit for this type of patch bay and while there aren't many this type of product this was the best deal I could find and the really a bargain for the amount of I/O and quality you get. I know this sounds like a commercial, but I really am impressed!
