The only small gripe so far is that I can't turn up the output gain. I had to insert a gain plugin to compare it against other reverb plugins. | That is a negative thing about the Aether, no output control......I think. The Red thankfully has it.

Has anyone had any weird CPU issues with this for RTAS?
I installed it and suddenly my session kept saying I had too RTAS plugins running. It crashed a few times. Even when the Redline was not instantiated I still had the problem until I uninstalled it and all was good.
It was only one session so it may have been a coincidence.

I played with it for another hour tonight without any issues.
Although I printed my Virtual Instruments first.
This plugin is truly amazing.

This plugin is truly amazing. | That's good to hear. The fact that it happened even w/o Redline Reverb instantiated would indicate that the problem lies somewhere else, but even so if it happens again please inform us. Just for the record: are you on PC or Mac, what operating system, and which PT version?
Thanks,

I'll definitely be using it more next week so I'll keep you posted.
I'm using Mac Dual 2.0 PPC Pro Tools HD3 Accel.

I value Kenny's opinion very highly. So, I purchased this plug without demoing it.
All I can say is "Holy shit batman" this plug-in rocks!
You guys over at 112 dB are saints! 99 bucks... you gotta be kiddin!
This plug-in is right up there with the best of them!
Any chance of coming out with some type of "Stereo Room" algorithm/preset from the Reverb 2016? Eventide - Reverb 2016
Best of luck with the new products! |

I am honored that I inspired a sale.
This is really a great plugin at 5X the price.
Not only are the presets great, but there's so many parameters that I couldn't imagine not being able to get something you like. Seems very efficient too.
If Massey made a reverb, this would probably be it. (price/performance)

I downloaded the demo last night and was very impressed ... so much so I registered here, just to say so! (Have lurked for much too long. ;-)
I am curious whether there is a relationship between 112db and Audioease. 1) dj's signature has logo's from both companies, and 2) many of the presets seem to try to copy some of the recent Altiverb IRs (e.g. the Indian mausoleum)

Very impressed with this Reverb , great job 112db i think i'll add this to my arsenal, very easy UI as well .....
I think both Cytomic 'The Glue' and Redline Reverb have really broken the barrier between quality vs price ..... both are up there with the quality of companies charging 2 to 4x the price , Stillwell is also in this catergory ..... |

| Yup. The relationship being that I am active in both companies: I own 112dB and work (as the PC programmer) for Audio Ease. The presets named after their Altiverb counterparts were thrown in mostly for fun, just to see whether Redline Reverb could be persuaded to produce something in the ballpark. Don't take them too seriously, i.e., as 1:1 copies of the Altiverb IRs--one is a convolution reverb and the other an algorithmic one, so it would be nothing short of a miracle if the latter could really mimick the former.

He was actually the first one to 'walk that path'...
Btw...
I'm gonna buy this !
No doubt about that.

I think I've just found my go to reverb plugin. From simply skipping through the presets this thing sounds amazing on the vast majority of things I've thrown it across. Absolutely brilliant work and think I will be purchasing once the trial period is up!

I have to agree this a great verb for the money but after testing the Aetherand and Redline with my Logic's Space Designer with the Acousticas Lexicon 300 Library loaded in.... the Acousticas library was much richer to me.
BUT... if you didn't have the Acousticas library, I highly recommend the Redline. |

Just installed this now after reading this thread. I've been looking for a good
but relatively inexpensive RTAS reverb. Off to check it out soon!

I actually just picked up a used PCM91. I'll be curious whether this justifies putting it back on the market. Very skeptical as I'm a big Lexicon fan, but who knows?
Recall is nice too .
Will download Demo tonight.
