Oh man! My buddy made me one of these (real analog) a long time ago! I used if for awhile and then gave it away eventually because it was too "boring" looking. It had one knob for the sweep and one for the tilt. Very clever it was..... this was back in 91 or 92. Back then I had too little appreciation for things that didn't go blink-idy blink.

I'll be trying this plug.

Make us a hardware version please....

That's funny...before reading your post, I was going to express interest in a hardware tilt EQ! Well, I'd love a hardware tilt EQ for compressor SCs if anyone is reading....

I guess I could try the plug instead . Looks very cool!

This would be a KILLER 500 series unit! For more than just SC's too....

the concept on the device my buddy made was basically a "tone" control like on an old AM radio. The only difference was that it had a sweepable frequency "pivot".

yes, I'd like one in 500 series as well!thumbsup

Some Quad hifi preamps have what they called "tilt." That's the first place I ever saw it... over 30 years ago. Tonelux has an implementation and I believe API's "thrust" is similar in SC. The original Michael Gerzon Waves EQ presets have tilt variations. I've seen two main types: a curved or linear shelf above and below the center, or fixed gain... like turning up and down on either side of the crossover point.
