Hey Warren, hope your new business is off to a great start.

Its been a while, do you have any more impressions of the 3 Zigma Chi line?

ZenPro Audio is off to a great start, like I never stopped really.

I have to say, WAY too much time for me with building a website thus far in 2009 and WAY too little time in the studio. I just got my control room done, live room is like 90%, and have completed my first full project year to date just the other day (and it's June!). I can't wait until the site is what I consider done to the point of being able to MAINTAIN it rather than add all the crazy stuff that I think needs to be added (not just products, useful content).

I will break free soon on more studio time, I think my butt has even changed shape being stuck in front of the web since January coding a website...!!! At least I can pace around while I'm on the phone.

Anybody is welcome to check out 3 Zigma and hear it for themselves of course, the more opinions the better (wow that was a slick way of saying "buy one" wasn't it?). Well they are worth buying in my opinion.

Hope you're doing well in the land of pahked cahs.

I very much hope that these adaptors get made. I would love to see what an old M7 Lollipop sounds like with one of your low-noise, ultralinear head amps and what your 251-style capsule would sound like on my AKG C-28 with a 6072 in it!

Best of luck with this very exciting new product line!

In response to the (year-old) requests for samples in this thread, here's an extensive review of the CHI system. There's a short VO clip using the four LDC caps too.

BTW if any real VO guys have a sample script to suggest, I can make more samples. I have the mics here still, and a Realtraps PVB to test.

Looks like prices have been lowered on some models as well.

As think they arent selling as much as predicted so they are trying a new strategy which is great.

Also from the review above:
Quote:
Larry informs us that the 2010 production run of the CHI system will use a redesigned chassis for the head amp, machined from stainless steel
Selling out the current stock might be a priority.

Thanks for this fine review!

To have words and samples combined makes it quite a bit more informative. It's still subjective in it's writing and conclusions - which I think a review should be - but It's not subjective only thumbsup

Yeah, I though Matt did a great job on that review - really sets the bar high for gear reviews - online or off.
