Thread Starter | AES - Nashville Recording Workshop + Expo 2009 The AES Nashville Section, in conjunction with the Audio Engineering Society, is introducing the Nashville Recording Workshop + Expo, a compelling two-day immersion in the art and technology of recording music. Affordable and more powerful technology has made for a burgeoning market in recording equipment as songwriters, musicians and engineers create their own personal production spaces. The Nashville Recording Workshop, to be held February 20th and 21st at Nashville’s Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum, was developed to share the expertise of the Audio Engineering Society with a new generation of audio engineers hungry for the information and insights they need to make the most of their personal studios. The program presenters draw upon the best engineering talent Nashville has to offer, as well as renowned audio professionals like John Keane, Alan Silverman and Michael Wagener. A keynote address by renowned musician (and studio owner) Ricky Skaggs will kick off the event. In addition to the Nashville Recording Workshop program (NRW+E for short) in the MHOFM’s performance hall, the 4250 square foot reception hall will house the technology exhibition.
