| Lives for gear | new Burl Audio B2 DAC, B1-D "Dark" mic pre at booth 1526
come by Wave Distro booth 1526 and check out the new B2 Bomber Digital to Analog converter from Burl Audio, a complement to their B2 Bomber ADC introduced last year. Burl is also introducing a "darker" output transformer for the B1 Mic Pre module for the API 500 Series... more details available at the booth. See you there!

Wish I could be there! Is this is an entirely new b1 or is it a retrofit 'darker' transformer for the standard b1? Very interested to hear these pres. |

the boys at Burl are building them right now, to have them in time for the show Friday. Rich Williams from Burl Audio will come on here later and explain the new "D" model. -gil |

| I believe the Burl B2 Bomber DAC is a 2-channel unit, like its brother. It is described as a Reference DAC using a class A discrete op-amp output stage.
