I'd get it just because i has this;

Quote:
M50 Editor、 M50 Plug-In Editor付属。M50 Editorでは音色エディットが可能。M50 Plug-In EditorではDAWソフトウェア上でM50をプラグイン・インストゥルメントのように扱うことができます。(VST、Audio Units、RTAS対応)

So,
Anyone excited? I am hoping they have improved the sequencer a little over the M3, have the same nice synth action, hopefully a useable piano sound... could be a nice little workstation

anyone else curious? thoughts?

hmmm, I wonder what the sequencer is going to be like. They seemed to hint that it had some new features over the dissapointing sequencer of the M3.
I hope so, it'll be a winner if the sequencer works well

The M50 is AWESOME! For the $, NOTHING can beat it! Live or recording, the M50 does it all fairly well. Even the Sequencer is ok (I prefer SX3 for sequencing, but for what it is, it's ok).

The sound quality is what is really amazing for an instrument in this price range.

Ease of use is AMAZING!!!

Just thought I'd share my findings after owning the M50 for almost 3 months now (I'm a full-time musician{Guitar & Bass are my main instruments}, easy to get figured out if you work on it for 60hrs per week for 2 weeks)

After 100 hours, even the detailed editing makes sense because of the touch screen.

And the VSTi that comes with it,,, AWESOME..

Give the M50 a fair chance if your looking in the $1500 or under price range!

How does the X50 compare soundwise?

People still use keyboard-sequencers in this day and age?
