Just wanted to give props to Matta and Peterc for this one... Haven't got this specific unit yet (one day... I haven't bit the bullet on a 500 pathway yet) but I do have two channels of Rev14 Green Pre and they are lovely. Peterc is a great guy and super helpful. I would think this a worthy investment for anyone going down that path, some nice clean bright pre's in a lunchbox might be just what the doctor ordered given that most of what you find currently is transformer based...

I Tought it sounded pretty good... looks good too. 500$ for a decent preamp i think is a fair price. Good luck to you... i'll definatelly keep an eye open for your products when i will be hunting for my next preamp -Alxi- |
