...And I just noticed this post! I had to do some field service last week, so I figured if I was going to get this ready for all you folks, it'd have to be either an all-nighter, or a week later. I chose the former, as you've noticed.

HehHeh. I hope it was worth it for ya...and for me (I got two on order!!)!!

Can't wait...I've been on the prowl for a program EQ to add some sparkle before my half-inch deck. I always end up with too-dark mixes!! The 500-compatible thing is icing on the cake!

And I'm sure those Marinair trannies will help those pesky ITB mixes...

I feel like the holidays haven't happened yet . . . awaiting the birth of my 2nd child (wife was due on x-mas), and the shipment of two of these guys, although I have a feeling the child will get more attention . . . at first. Happy New Year!

Sound samples will happen, but I can't say when. I'm trying to arrange a session with a friend, or more preferably with an impartial third-party.

All 60 units have been reserved, but there is a waiting list going in case anyone backs out between now and the January 22nd payment deadline.

The modules would've started shipping tomorrow, but won't ship for another two weeks now, thanks to a surprise delay from one of my metal suppliers. Obviously, we can't guarantee QA if modules start leaving without their side panels.

started shipping and no posted samples?!? I actually liked the looks of this product.

Is this some kind of private purchasing club here?

Either that or EisenAudio has a great reputation that I was not privvy to.

In any case, someday I will hear them and then decide.

I'm in the middle of a Dresden Dolls record and I've been putting them through their paces (one word: OVERHEADS!! They sound friggin' great!!)...I'll see if I can get some samples up from the sessions.

I've also used them on a mix project...the tracking was far from pristine, so the sound clips I'm gonna hook up are far from...er...delicate...but it'll make for some good before-and-after. Especially because I was using them between the mix-buss compressor and the half-inch machine (a very obvious place for them, especially on such muddy and dark source material, IMO).

You can also expect a full review.

I won't be able to get to any of this stuff until this record is done, however....of course that means I can use em on the mixes...

No. We kept a few pairs for our partner studio and colleagues, but all other modules were offered to the gearslutz.com viewers who replied, in order of response.

Great reputation? Apparently, yes, because all 60 modules were spoken for by Dec. 23, 2007, less than two days after the humble announcement in post #1. People jumped right on it, and I've been busy filling orders since then. No time for a session.

Gots mine. They brought out the low end in an old dixieland jazz recording purrfectly w/ a little bit of 160Hz . . . really psyched to use these more . . .Nice one Jens.
