Vote for Tonelux contest

When I go to the link Paul provided on this page http://www.gearslutz.com/board/new-p...ontest-42.html,

I'm not seeing any names or voting.

I just see this....

I am entering all the names into a spreadsheet. The reason that I am doing this is that I am going to make a tshirt with all the names on it for all the people that entered. Once the names are entered, they will be posted! That is the right link

Give me a few days, it's a ton!!

Paul

ps Jules, maybe add this to the end of the thread..

This tshirt will have all the names suggested in that thread? Whoa! Crazy! Save me an XXL please. Or an XXXL if I don't stop drinking beer and eating soon.

Hell , lets just start thinking of names for the new T-shirt instead, how about the Tonelux super-T, or the Wonder -T, or the lux-T or T-lux or ..............

It's going to need to be at least an XXL to fit all those suggestions. That was one insane thread!

(Oh, and and send a XXXL over here)

Frankly I'd just pick a name if I were them. Online voting is like a "who has the most friends on myspace?" question.

I look forward to the T-Shirt!

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, he was secretly amassing a small army and training them for what was to come, ready to vote at a moments notice...

So, Paul (and staff) are picking 30 names out of thousands(? - I did almost 200!) submitted and then there's a public online vote for the best out of the selected 30?

I thought the voting would be here on GS...

The voting software requires PHP, so we are running it on our site. just go to the site and click VOTE!

I will choose in a couple of days.

Oh well, none of my entries made the cut (saved me a few $grand filling that thing!). They wanted short names, no play on lunchbox, and nothing edgey (other than "Ammo box" which is just going to offend the touchy-feely artiste types). In fact I can't really find any on the list that excite me. I guess Tonehenge is the most creative and picturesque but it seems a bit corny. SpiceRack is pretty nice. I'll go with that one.

I voted for Portalux (even as much as Tone Henge puts a smile on my face)..but still like one of my entries..

The Tonelux "WMR" (Weapon for Mass Recording)

Perhaps to many political undertones....Good luck to whomever wins this thing!
