Thread Starter | So I decided to start my own little company. You guessed it, 500 series modules! Well friends I have been dreaming about this for quite some time, and I am very happy to say that I have started my own pro audio manufacturing company called Analog Audio Works. Our first product will be a 500 series module that has been designed by Fred Forssell. The prototypes are pretty much done but we still have a lot of work to do before it is released. I won't say what it is yet but it is definitely not a "me too" product and will be very useful in the studio. Please feel free to sign up for the mailing list for announcements and special offers. Here is a link to the website: Analog Audio Works - home I will also still be working for Mytek, so please don't hesitate to contact me for any questions regarding Mytek products. Thanks! |

Thread Starter | Man I am really overwhelmed by all of the good wishes!!! I will announce more when things are closer to completion, but I don't feel comfortable doing so until all of the beta testing is done. Basically my goal for this company is to make cost effective modules for the system that do not directly compete with current modules. For example, I don't currently plan to offer a mic preamp. I may in the near future but there are a ton of good ones out there already. The goal for us is to make modules that will enhance the versatility of the rack and do so at a reasonable cost to the end user. All of our modules will be assembeled here in Ohio so that the process from production to testing to shipping will be local. I plan on working a lot of 16 hour days to get this off the ground while also performing my Mytek duties so I hope I can keep up.... Thanks again for all of the kind words!!! |
