New drum library for Battery - MPC60 Vol 1 (TR) for Battery

Goldbaby releases MPC60 Vol 1 (TR) for Battery.

The MPC60 is arguably one of the best hardware drum machines ever
made. Whether by design or accident it's 12-bit sampling engine makes
drums sound punchy and warm...in a word phat! What if the TR's got
together with the MPC60! Oh yeah! That's right... 808, 909, 606, 626,
33, 66, 77, 707, 727, 505 ... all sampled into the MPC60 . Welcome to
the MPC60 Vol 1 (TR).

MPC60 Vol 1 (TR) for Battery contains:
541 x 24bit samples,
13 Kits
177 x 1 bar midi patterns

Thanks...

The MPC60 really makes those TR drum machines come to life... A marriage made in drum machine heaven!

I think this is the first product to try and mate the MPC60 with an 808, 909, 606, etc... The resulting offspring are good kids... a little spirited and sometimes unruly but with a little tenderness they will grow up to be very upstanding members of your community... wait a minute get a grip their only samples!

I got to get some sleep!

Other formats? MV-8000

Would you guys make these sounds available for the MV-8000. Since you guys sampled through the MPC-60 I'm sure they can be available for other boxes. I know there is a lack of good sound for the MV, and I think this will be a great addition.

Let me know.

Many thanks.

eskay.

Hi Eskay

I'm afraid we don't have an MV-8000... they sound like a great machine though... I had a look at the specs for it and it says it can import .wav files... This product comes as a .wav sample pack as well. The samples are 24bit but it is easy enough for you to convert to 16bit.

That's a shame. I know I can import as wavs but then I have to go through the process of mapping them. It's not super tedious work, but something that I don't want to do. Other manufacture's have told me the same thing, and thought that this time we might have something different.

Take care.

I noticed you put reverb on the demos. Is it possible to have a demo without reverb? It's hard to judge the sound when reverb is added.

I used many different methods in creating the product. Each drum machine was a different beast needing a different signal path. For instance the 808 was recorded straight into the MPC60 and then from the MPC60 into a ULN-2 connected to a G5 running Logic. But it was also recorded through a Joe Meek Twin Q and then into the MPC60... I did this to hit the MPC60 pre-amp hard! It loves being abused like that! I used two 606's... one modded to give the snare more omph and give it seperate outs...etc...etc..

I basically did what ever I could to make the MPC60 shine!

Your shopping cart won't allow a gmail address -- I gotta say that would've cost you a sale, if I didn't happen to have another (that I'd rather not use). Please fix this. I find gmail to be best for my situation and there are other way to guarantee a secure and honest transaction.

Otherwise, looking forward to trying these out.

Hi Jeb

I'm afraid that this is my e-commerce providers policy. Plimus have been very good.... and most importantly secure. They are a trusted company and to date I have had no problems with them. If you have an issue with their transaction process contact them... I'm sure they can work something else out with you.

Regard
Hugo

I have the same problem. There are a couple of companies that won't accept gmail.

It's my only email address. What do they want me to do??

share-it, one of the biggest software seller on the net has the same policy.

If they don't want my email address, I don't want their product.

Hi theother

Sorry to hear you can't buy my products... Plimus only have this policy because of credit card fraud.

I would love for you to buy my products! Contact Plimus if you are still interested in Goldbaby's products... I'm sure they can work something else out with you.

To all those who couldn't buy my products because they had a free domain like yahoo.com, hotmail.com etc. I have talked to Plimus and now they will accept orders from these domains.

I couldn't let you guy's miss out on my products!

Hugo

Thanks! Appeciate it! I bought them anyway with the other account, but will be good to know when I want to buy other things in the future. It seems like it's pretty secure as it is with the credit card check.

Does Battery Kit include WAV files as well?

Hey Hugo - Was interested in buying a couple drum kits. I'm a long time MPC user, but just got turned on to battery which I plan on purchasing soon. So I'm wondering, If I buy the kits for Battery, will they include all the .wav samples as well or will all samples be in some type of proprietary Battery format and require resampling to use with the MPC in addition to Battery. Thanks for any info.

Yes you get all the wav samples as well as kits... They are all 24 bit wav files though so you will have to convert them to 16 bit if your MPC requires it. A lot of my customers use batch converters to do this...
