Piano Lesson Video Game

Hahaaaaaa

Just came across this:

http://www.pianovideogame.com

They took the concept of Dance Revolution or Guitar Hero for the PS2 and made a game that teaches you how to read music and play piano. Cool.

Please do! thumbsup

I'm wondering whether this would be a good tool to introduce my son to an instrument.

Ok - I got it, it's definitely fun and definitely cool. In my opinion it would be an awesome way to introduce a kid to the piano. I wish I'd had it as a kid!!!! I'll fool around with it some more and hopefully post a more complete review.

I got it too. As a drummer/ moderate guitar player, I have absolutely no piano skills whatsoever. More then anything this thing is great at getting yourself moving around the keys. Also having those colored stickers on the keys really is helping me alot. The songs included range from absolute cheese, to the best song ever...superfreak...HA! I do like alot of the included options too.... such as manual tempo change, loop section,a click, being able to add or subtract instruments that either accompany you or you actually play yourself, and the beat lines.

I'll do a more detailed review later too.

Am I The Only One That Remembers

In the early 90's there was a piano teaching game for nintendo called MIRACLE. It had a SCSI to NES adapter. It was way cool.

Yeah, this took definitely care of a few Christmas presents for me this year...

Piano Video Game - Learn to Play Piano and Read Music - Fun Piano Lessons!

I heard they came out with a new music academy software of some sort, I should check that out - but the game is good.

Has anybody else used this?
