Thread Starter | SynthMaster : A comprehensive softsynth
A former Digidesign employee friend of mine has been working on a softsynth called SynthMaster for sometime and he is offering a free version of it on his website at the moment. It is currently Windows XP only and in VST, VSTi, DXi and RTAS versions, but he is working on the Mac compilations and hoping to offer them in the very near future. To obtain its free fully working LE version please go to: http://www.kv331audio.com Apparently a full STD version will be on sale sometime soon. B. |

Hey Barish, thanks so much for announcing SynthMaster buddy! Folks, we hope that you really like SynthMaster FREE!. It comes with hundreds of presets, of which 150 are tutorial presets (each has detailed descriptions). Take a look at them, SynthMaster has a lot to offer, and it's not only a software synth, but also a multi-fx processor. BTW, our official forum is at kvraudio: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=98 Thanks! Bulent |

My pleasure. I have been messing around with the RTAS version for sometime and it sounds even more interesting than it looks. The possibilities seem endless with a wide variety of controls, parameters and configuration options, but still it manages to be pretty intuitive in use. I think a Mac version is definitely a must, though. B. |
