Mbox Pro 3 on a new iMac 27" 2013

Hi,

I'm looking into buying a small rig containing the Mbox Pro 3 and a new iMac 27".
I'm a bit confused how i would connect the two. Mbox Pro only has firewire 400 ports and the iMac has USB and Thunderbolt.
As i understand there's no Firewire 400 to thunderbolt convertor cables available.
Any ideas?

I think I answered this in your other post.

You just use the Apple Thunderbolt to Firewire 800 adapter, and then a Firewire 800 to 400 cable. Should work fine. It's no different than using an 800 to 400 cable directly to a Mac with FW800 ports.
