Pro tools 10 Native HD midi problem

Hey guys. I can't get pro tools 10 hd to use my notation 49sl compact as midi keyboard. It wont work with anything, mini grand hooked up via USB and always worked fine in pt 8 hooked up like this. I'm running pt hd 10.2.0. My native card is in slot 2 (tried 3, no dice). My os is snow leopard 10.6.8. My computer is 2x2.66 dual core intel Xeon Mac Pro, with 9 gigs of ram. Also, in the midi setup window it says native hd 0 in/0 out. Any thoughts what might be going on?
