Apogee have announced a firmware upgrade for the X-HD card that will allow compatibility with HDX and PT 10. It is expected sometime in Q1 of 2012.

You could use the Rosetta via optical, but with the Omni, you are still limited to 8x8 simultaneous i/o

On the back panel of the Rosetta, is there a slot where that card would be, and it has two Pro Tools PC32 DigiLink Connectors. It has always been an additional option for the Apogee units, when you buy the units. In Pro Tools, You need to setup the specific I/O you want to use with "Hardware Setups", so that you can specify which channels you want to use with the Digital Ports.

That is because Apogee has not updated the firmware yet, for use with HDX cards, and as Joe mentioned, they are reported to release it sometime in the first quarter of 2012.
