only problem is when i'm running a lot of instances of Autotune 7 (like on a pop or R+B song with a bunch of vocal parts, each tripled).

then i get all sorts of 9092, 9094 errors, even at higher buffer sizes.
Yep, PT does NOT like AT. I can add a bunch of them in Logic but not in AvidLand.

+1. I get "pro tools is critically low on memory" after 9-10 instances. Can't even run more than 2-3 of at7, that's just using at6).

Antares need to get their aax on, since they've never managed to sort this issue!

Doesn't AT 7 have large latency? And isn't there a low-latency mode? I ask because I notice that if I run Ozone 5 (large latency) it uses a lot of CPU. If I then load another Ozone 5 in parallel, (doing the same processing) it doesn't use much more CPU. If I add one in series, again a huge extra CPU hit. In other words, if the total plugin latency increases by much, it causes a huge CPU hit. If it doesn't increase the latency, it doesn't have nearly as much of a CPU load.

PS: The same applies to a few other plugins. It seems like PT doesn't like plugin latency.

If you are using graph mode, it stores all the tuning info in RAM, so the more instances used in graph mode - the more RAM.
