Deep/ambient track ala AFX, Deepchord, etc

Here's a simple piece I recorded last night in Live, centered around a polyrhythmic arpeggio from the Korg Monopoly. I just got the M/P not long ago and I'm really loving its arpeggio in poly mode--each of the 4 oscillators triggers one at a time in sequence, and by changing the octave rage of each oscillator you can change the melody in subtle ways, as was the goal of this track. Might be too slow going/subtle for some people's tastes, but maybe some will appreciate it.

Enjoy

I like it, but tonally it feels a bit muddy. I like how it sounds like its underwater, but you'd get a lot more out of it if you let it surface every once in awhile.

I personally really enjoyed this. Very subdued and mellow in a way that works well, as nrjizer said it kind of gives you that underwater feeling. I could listen to this and just drift away.

I love the MonoPoly - great synth. I like the overall vibe of this, even if it's more of a noodle than a song. Not sure if it was just me, but there's a slight bit of white noise that sits on top of the whole piece, like tape hiss - was that intentional?

D Davis: I get what you're saying, through when I was originally noodling with the idea I tried opening up the filters and it lost all the feeling I was going for, so I kept it subdued. Glad you liked it otherwise though.

lifelessalarm: Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the response!

I wouldn't call it a noodle so much, there was a deliberate flow I was trying to put into it while recording, at least in my mind. It's a very subtle thing, though it just gives you an idea of how I felt while recording, just kind of drifting along with it. The white noise was an intentional thing, yes.

Bumping because I fixed a few levels and re-uploaded. Maybe some other folks might like to check it out still
