Revenge: the idea is good-ish. the fx - too much imo, or at least work them into the mix more creatively?) a lot is getting drenched, live it will sound like one big verb convention. All together, with some work the idea is there, it sounds a bit raw... maybe thats good? I like "raw", but make it stand out, if thats your intention... Ultimately... I would take it off soundcloud and rework it ASAP.

scary-ponies: its better, I would work on it some more though.. nit pick the fvck out of it until your ears bleed...you want it to be glitchy, heavy as and proper in the face right? give it a weeks rest and then try it (mix) again fresh.

If you don't mind me asking, how much of it are you sampling (like 50%?)? And the second one sounds much more polished.

Hi otaku,

The only samples iv used are the vocals. which i have then chop and tuned a bit. All the rest of the sounds within the pieces i have made inc. the percussion.
Occasionally resampling them for chopping and stretching.

Revenge - I like the female vocal performance a lot, although I agree with a previous comment that the FX are a bit heavy. Not a huge fan of the guy, but that's just a personal preference. Re: the production - I think it's really interesting, good mix of subtle, ambient sounds with more dynamic stuff.

Scary Ponies has some great parts. Love the bass sounds and the overall feel. Also, the mix has a lot of energy. If you're looking for some suggestions, the "quiet" mid section maybe goes on slightly too long for my taste - I felt like i wanted it to kick back in a little sooner. The end also could use a bit more energy - maybe some more dynamics with the drums - feels like it runs down a bit when it should be building to a climax.
