Post Production forum?

Hey Jules ever thought of having a Post Production forum? I know as a musician/engineer I'm a little baffled about the gear, terms, setups, and processes involved in the film, tv,video,or game indstries.

just a thought.

This would be a great help to us in/on the fringes of the film/video/game industry...

one more vote!

and may i add a gentle reminder for

* music discussion forum
* electronic music production forum

i hang around here A LOT, and will continue to do so, but i have to say that its getting a bit repetitive and old. Everytime i see a "which ***** is better" thread, i feel like i've wasted too much time already.

respect,

I would love to see a Post Production Forum, as I do a lot of production sound and mixing.

I'd participate in a post forum. I've done some network prime-time drama and a Hollywood feature or two. Though music is the bulk of my work, I find post gigs technically interesting and creatively stimultaing as well. Wouldn't hang up the music stuff for a full time post gig though...

Another vote for such a forum...seems the majority of calls we are getting lately are for audio work to be melded with video (everything from music scores to foley)...

Absolutely. Lots of us in film, TV, radio and advertising are as slutty about gear as any of the record folks, but with different needs and tastes.
