Audio Post Production Studio Dimensions

Hi Chaps,

I apologise for jumping away a little from gear considerations but I thought one of you guys might be able to help.

I am doing some basic research into building an audio post production for video suite.

At this stage I am just looking for dimensions......

I will require an ADR/Foley recording room, voice- booth and control room capable of 5.1 mixing.

What are the ideal dimensions for each of these spaces. What is the minimum I can get away with.

Oh and I know all rooms will require extensive acoustic treatment but at this stage all I need is a rough ball-park figure on dimensions.......

For the dub stage and for any given control room / recording space:
1. no dimensions equally visable by another dimension. 40x20x10 bad.....
2. minimum number of parallel sides
3. for a dub stage, room volume is important, distance between screen and mix position, speaker placement, and room EQ.

Other than that is, size is more about availble space and what you're going to put in it.

here's a link to a java coded room calculator and some other info
