Pro Tools Surround panner

Just picked up the Surround Panner ES and experiencing something that i assume is out of the ordinary. Running PT 10.1.3 HD native on OSX 10.6.8.

Basically the top buttons do not light up when selected. They do work as expected just no visual feedback. Anyone else seen this?

Sounds like midi is not connected in both directions, which it should be.

Thanks seems that was the problem. Setting this thing up is surprisingly tricky between the AMS settings, MIDI I/o and the fact that the plugs have no in or out markings that I could find. Combined with the fact that I plugged it into my command 8 and it wouldn't let them share inputs. Seems pro tools labels the I/o differently than it is marked on the command 8. After enough fiddling it now works!

Now if only this thing were motorized...

Or followed selection....
