I have had great results with the Miktek Cv4. Real bang for the buck for what it gives you! Surprised nobody has mentioned this one yet...

NTG3 is surprisingly great for voiceover.
Millennia STT1 combo with solid state and tube combination can bring really smooth, natural and warm to cut through type of sound. And these variations all sounds good!
I used to think shotgun mic is a compromise and hesitating to even try it but it's the best sounding mic I have out of TLM102, AT4033, HM2D, SM7b, and RE20.
