What is the best Talkback mic

Hi Guys

My work have decided to upgrade our three audio suites and most of the equipment has turned up. The room i work in is a tracklaying room but im being connected to the VO so i need to have a good talkback mic so the artist can hear me... any suggestions?

Cheers

Do you need a mic with a contact switch? I have a crown PCC170sw which works perfectly fine for my needs. I know Audio Technica also makes some with switches and I think Shure does too.

edit:
Here's the Crown: http://www.crownaudio.com/media/pdf/mics/126443.pdf

My favorite is Audio-Technica - Microphones, headphones, wireless microphone systems, noise-cancelling headphones & more : AT808G Subcardioid Dynamic Console Microphone

If its just you needing to be heard - most any cardiod or tighter hyper-cardiod.
The more narrow the pattern the less room noise will get into the talkback.

Then if there's to be a producer or other people needing to heard an omni or even a 'Boundary' type mic might be better than having multiple mics spread around the room.

Want advertising talent to love you? Have an unobtrusive button, not on the talkback mic. Lean on it while the clients are discussing things between takes...

There's nothing worse for a voice actor than watching a five minute animated discussion through the glass, not knowing what they're talking about, and then having a producer come on the talkback and say "we'd like it just like the last one only do you think you could hit the word 'In' harder..."

Not only does the actor have to recall everything about that previous take, AND wipe out all the negative worries they had during the discussion, they ALSO have to instantly interpret what the f the producer meant.
