Trouble linking files

I Have received 100s of audio files via DropBox and an AAF for the session. When I open the AAF, only about 10 files link up. I've tried manually trying to link, I'v tried it in the project window. I've even tried using the workspace and manually writing the file name and searching for them and forcing a link. Nertz! Anyone got any ideas? I'm in PT 10.2 on a mac HD 4. They are in Nigeria on FCP. The embedded OMF they sent crashed.........

Charles,
Did you get your file issues resolved? Was the OMF consolidated in one large file? I don't think PT likes those much. Also, the an AAF out of FCP would have to from Automatic Duck software - maybe they didn't set it up properly. Also, are the '100s of files' BWAVs? If so, and they're are referenced to the edit list, they could be dropped onto a timeline using TC and track number metadata (as a very last resort).

Never got it resolved. Thanks for the advice. Also, they are AIFF files. I dont believe AIFFs contain Metadata, right? Just BWAVs.
