iZotope RX question

Alright! I have recently started using RX, I think its pretty great. One problem I am having though (and its quite a large problem when it comes to audio restoration) is that when I use the time-frequency selector, and select a band of frequencies, I do not hear only those frequencies when I play the sound back.

Izotope RX Spectral Repair Attenuate Mode - YouTube

As you can see from 0:50 in this video (this video shows how the feature is supposed to work).

If anyone could help that would be sweet. Its really hard to identify exactly where troublesome noises are without being able to hear only what you have selected.

Cheers!

Instead of pressing the play button, press the play button with the box around it with the dashed line. When you then press the space bar, it will use this playback mode.
