Automation "to all" in pro tools 9 with artist

I have to hold off before upgrading to ProTools 10 in the mix room and I really need automation writet, latch, touch, read off to all via one button.

I am wondering if there's any clever way someone can suggest to implement this maybe using macros or QuicKeys.

is really slowing me down and I have a few mixes left to do before going to ProTools 10.

One thing I considered was arranging all of my window configuration so that one track always remains the exact same size in the edit window and creating a macro to literally switch each automation mode via mouse click in the track lane of the edit window I'm not sure if this will work and will require a lot of set up time maybe there's something else I can do?

Cheers

Need? Or want?

Hold down option when you switch one of the tracks, it will switch them all. Or use any other combination of modifier keys. You can also put things in groups, so they switch modes.

I really don't find all that in convenient to have to go to the track and switch automation modes. Or, I do it on my Control|8 or Control|24.

Thanks. Yes want!

Want to save time . Want to focus
more on other things. I can probably save a lot of time a day avoiding mouse clicks and focus more on mixing.

The method you mentioned is how I am doing it and I find grabbing the mouse to be a slowdown to my workflow. I keep my tracks scaled small so i can maximize screen real estate (automation menu is not even there visible)

I guess ill have to deal until I switch to 10, and make some macros with mc artist control soft keys.

Then I will use my extra time to spend with one month old son!
