| Mystery of DAE error -9060
Hey Guys
Appreciate all the assistance I have received regarding my previous inquiry.
The breakdown is as follows. In order to discern the difference between audio bounced in the box on PT9 and the audio out of my ensemble I patched from the outs of the ensemble back into the interface and recorded my session. Simple enough right ? Apparently not, just after completing the recording I press the spacebar and get hit with a DAE -9060, 9031 error. From the little I have gathered regarding this error it is playback error related to corrupted audio. How is that possible though? The session is a post production session that is thirty minutes in length. I have only managed to bounce a portion of the audio, but the full thirty minutes is met with this error. My macbook pro is new, the ensemble is new...I don't understand how this can be possible.
Second question, I have an upgrade to PT10 on my hard drive, if I update it will I lose my session data ? for example will I need to reload my plug ins ? A bit of a silly question but I am tad paranoid, my pro tools gives me hell. To this day there is clicking noise that pops every 15 minutes or so that comes up when I load PT9. beginning not to favor this DAW dude.
