| Soundminer v4Pro Spotting Panel Issues...
Hey Everyone,
So I'm addicted to Soundminer V4Pro...I'm using a trial right now and will HAVE to shell out for the full version soon because I'm not going back to WSB in PT...
All is awesome except:
I've made some project specific folders in the Spotting Panel, folders for favorite ambiences etc. 2 things I'm noticing that are driving me crazy.
1) It doesn't seem to honor my choice in disabling Xfer State and toggling "Respect Xfer Flag" to off...it goes ahead and uses tags on used files anyway...then I can't re-spot them without de-flagging them. What's up with that?? I'll be happy if this is user error on my part...
2) It remembers my selection of a selected file, and then won't forget it. I.e. I double click a file in a spotting folder to bring up its wave. I make my selection and spot. Then if I go to clear the selection to grab the whole region it retains the selection, regardless of the visual. So I select another file, and upon returning to the previous one...the selection is back. WTF? again, this could be something I'm missing because the ref manual is porridge thick...
