Anyone use a v control pro iPad app along side their C24?
Does it work ok?

All day, err day. Werks good but there are a couple things to keep in mind-

1. If you use the V-Window for plugs it can get wonky when plug ins are "hiding" at the bottom/sides of your screen.

2. Faders on V Control are the same as the first 8 on your C24.

3. Surround panners are awesome.

I usually use it for the SFX rig on features (panning is easier) and to display meters on TV stuff. Also used it as a timecode display when video makes a boner and doesn't print TC.

Another great thing is controlling transport from anywhere in a room... I often run a 2 man mix solo and that comes in handy if you don't feel like sliding over to the other mixer.

I use it and really like it. Well worth the money. It's really responsive and if there is any lag I don't notice it while I'm working. Surround panners are great, and I really like the new v-window functionality for calling up plugins and things. Certain plugs it's great to have the combination of touch-sensitivity with the plugin's graphical interface. Plus the wireless aspect is nice too. It's cool to know I can start and pause playback from the couch at the back of the mix room if I want to

If you are using it with another avid controller like the c24 or euphonix, pt does not transmit metering. That really sucks. Makes it a little hard to work with it for me but I do use it for simple things like transport control.

Thanx got it, works a treat.
Been using it to automate my sends rather than flicking through modes on the c24

Opening windows is handy, as I can easily get the big counter for the vo booth up and running for artist cues
