Inexpensive headset mic

Hi.

I'm looking for an inexpensive headset mic to plug into a karaoke machine. It will be used for speaking only, in company meetings. The unit has no phantom power and is unbalanced. Are there any that don't require phantom power? If not, perhaps an external phantom power supply is needed.

Thanks for any suggestions!

You'll need an external phantom supply. Check out Oscar Sound Tech. They have a decent headset mic for not much money. oscarsoundtech.com

a Shure SM10a with a Shure A85F and a nice long mic cable will hold their value, and will also work great with whatever replaces the karaoke machine next year.
